Review Disclaimer

This page explains the scope and limits of any pre-launch review I deliver. It applies to every report I write and is referenced from the case studies on this site as well as in the actual report PDFs themselves.

WHAT A REVIEW IS

A pre-launch review is my personal observations and testing of a SaaS product, conducted in a specific test environment over a defined period. It covers user experience, product depth, technical health, business readiness, go-to-market positioning, and a prioritized list of bugs and suggestions. Every section of every review is graded based on my judgment as an experienced SaaS reviewer.

WHAT A REVIEW IS NOT

A review is not a comprehensive or exhaustive assessment of every possible aspect of your product. It is not a security audit, a compliance verification, a legal analysis, a financial valuation, or a guarantee of any kind.

There may be problems I do not catch. There may be issues that only show up in environments I did not test, on devices I do not have, or under usage patterns I did not simulate. A review is a strong second set of eyes, not a complete safety net.

SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE

I do not perform formal security testing. I do not run penetration tests. I do not audit your code for vulnerabilities. If I notice something that looks obviously broken from a security standpoint, I will mention it, but my review should never be used as a substitute for actual security testing by a qualified specialist.

I do not perform legal compliance reviews. I check whether legal pages exist on your site and whether they appear to be linked correctly, but I do not assess the validity, completeness, or enforceability of any legal text. For real legal review, hire a lawyer.

I do not assess regulatory compliance with industry-specific frameworks like HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or any similar standard.

TESTING LIMITS

Reviews are conducted in a specific environment: a Windows desktop running Firefox, and an Android mobile device running Brave browser. Performance and behavior on other operating systems, browsers, screen sizes, or network conditions may differ from what I observe.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions about whether to launch your product, what to fix first, and how to interpret my findings are entirely yours. The review is a tool to help you make better decisions, not a replacement for your own judgment or for advice from other professionals.

I strongly recommend:

LIABILITY

I disclaim any liability for losses, damages, or legal consequences that may arise from reliance on a review. The review is provided to help you, not to guarantee any specific outcome.
